Record the operating condition
Note engine temperature, load, travel speed, PTO use, hydraulic demand and whether the machine was shifting, turning or lifting an implement.
A warning on the display does not always identify a failed part. Good diagnosis starts with the operating conditions, electrical supply, wiring integrity and the system behavior that triggered the controller.
A fault code is a recorded reaction. The conditions surrounding it often reveal whether the problem began with a sensor, a power supply, a hydraulic circuit or a communication fault between controllers.

Low voltage, poor grounds, damaged harnesses and contaminated connectors can create several unrelated-looking warnings at the same time.
A pressure code does not prove the pressure sensor is bad. Confirm the circuit, actual pressure and controller inputs before ordering parts.
That question changes the entire diagnostic process. It moves the technician away from parts swapping and toward evidence: voltage measurements, continuity tests, pressure checks, connector inspection and comparison with actual machine behavior.
